Book Review of Frommer's Eastern Europe (Frommer's Complete)

Frommer's Eastern Europe (Frommer's Complete)
reviewed Reliably good - it's Frommer's on + 10 more book reviews

I usually trust Frommer's when trip planning, and this one is no exception. The guidebook does a good job at listing hotels, restaurants, and other options at a variety of price ranges so suitable for a broad spectrum of travelers. The areas included in the book (Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Moscow & St Petersburg, Slovakia, and Slovenia) are all in separate chapters so very accessible and not overwhelming when planning a long trip. When I recently traveled in the area, I found the Rick Steves guide to be overall more handy on the ground, but the Frommer's was still useful for advance planning.
