I admit it;This book grew on me! When it starts off, you really want to hate the narrator's ex-husband. The way she describes him is like he is the perfect Renaissance man, which really annoyed me. That, and the way she described her upper, UPPER, class life like she was just the girl next door.
But by the last third of the book, you can see that she does have a gritty side to her when it comes to trying to save her marriage.
