I liked the first one but this one is much better in my opinion. I know a lot of people would put this book in the paranormal romance category but I think it's one of those books that really belong to both romance and fantasy genre. Cat doesn't really meet back up with Bones until about 1/3 of the book.

I love the banter and immaturity of the characters. It's like meeting up with your really good high school friends again. A lot of getting on each others' nerves and laughing at each others' expense. Lot so bad language and explicit sex but fun, fun, fun.

As with all the books in the series, I have a hard time that some of the side characters aren't as developed and are basic caricature of the ethnic culture they are. But I still think it's a great read.
