I liked that this book was written from Kate's perspective as it gave me a glipmse into her life. The book covers topics I hadn't heard discussed on the television series like when she almost adopted a patient's child. I felt more connected to the family after reading this book. I liked that she discussed how the names were chosen for the children and then how she commented on their personality traits.
