Loved this book. Despite the desolation of the setting there was something serene and beautiful about the story and the action. I could see, hear and almost touch everything around them. Never before have I craved a can of fruit, but this book did me in, as it got me to think about all that could be lost and how we would fight and evolve (for better or worse) to survive.
