So you live in the paradise of Hawaii, a place I have long wanted to visit. But all turns topsy turvey when technology begins taking a dump. The internet fails, cell phones are fried,electrical devices and machines fail and life becomes quite different. As people become frantic, violence increases. Gangs form taking what they want wherever they are. Finally, some people realize that the strange coloration in the sky is causing all this complete with meteors and tsunamis occur.

This is the life Leilani faces as she is scheduled for an experimental drug treatment for her epilepsy. However, when the hospital finds equipment failing and elecftricity is no more her trial is halted. The problem now is how to get home. Marooned on an island with no planes flying, few ships moving, and thousands of people wanting to go home including the tourists who frequent the islands from the mainland. How she and her father manage to return home amid the chaos is difficult if not impossible. Great story line with a sequel to follow. Read it and discover a world gone mad while the sensible work to change their lifestyle.
