Daisy doesn't want anything to do with Matthew, remembering him as a sober man who never smiles. But when Daisy meets Matthew again, sparks fly.
This was my least favorite of Kleypas' Wallflower series. Even though both the hero and heroine are both likeable characters, I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. If you are reading the series, I would still read it for the closure. But in my opinion, it is just your average historical romance.
