Honestly, I didn't love this book. The moral predicament felt fairly trite to me, and the murderer felt fairly obvious. Throughout the book, she never really made me care about any of the characters. In my opinion, if you want to read a stirring story about the grey areas surrounding abortion, pick up a copy of The Cider House Rules by John Irving. There's one that actually lives up to the first line of the book description for this book (especially if you change "Colorado" to "Maine").
