Quick tour of the women of the Tudor Dynasty (Margaret Beaufort, Henry VIII's wives, and Queens Mary and Elizabeth) interpreting their lives and actions through a feminist lens. Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard come off looking better than usual, while Henry VIII is (rather one-dimensionally) cast as the evil, egotistical oppressive male.
Interesting take, but if you are looking for a biography of Henry's wives I would recommend Alison Weir's or David Starkey's books instead.
