This is amazing for the time.It is well written and detailed by the Doctor's granddaughter.Mollie Moore a schoolteacher marries a doctor. They are young and passionately in love. And becomes a doctor. Her husband is supportive until she is working beside him as a doctor. HE collects money from both their patients and doles it out as she asks for it. They are living with his mother who kicks Mollie's dog. That is too much. She leaves Iowa against her husbands and mothers wishes and goes to Salt Lake city, Utah where she has a woman doctor friend. She is unable to find a job because she is a woman.A man who owns a mine up in Bannock, Montana hires her as the miners doctor. Her husband finds her and although she hears him out , she refuses to go back to Iowa with him. Her adventure as a woman doctor in the Wild West has begun.
