From the first page Vashti was very unlikeable. By the middle of the book i felt some compassion towards her but the way she behaved when she told the hero that his daughter was adopted and expected him to just believe her was disgusting. She was irredeemable to me. Hero deserved better. I give 3 starts for the best friend romance and Ray (second in the series).
