Book Review of Hercule Poirot's Christmas (Hercule Poirot, book 19) (aka: A Holiday for Murder / Murder for Christmas)

Simeon Lee has contacted his kith and kin to visit his estate for Christmas. Lee is not well-liked by his family; he humiliated his long-suffering wife with his affairs. His children blame him for their mother's early death. Albert and his wife have cared for the old, infirm man for years and are upset by Simeon's contacting the other children and offering the olive branch to them. Simeon was dedicated to the idea of tweaking his children's greed and anger with each other. What he didn't realize is that he angered one into murder.

Frankly, I thought the plot was rather convoluted. Forget about figuring it out yourself. It ain't going to happen. Hercule Poirot is at his maddening best.
