This book is a wonderful story about friendship. It has parts in it that would likely make grown-ups wiggle because they will be grossed out..but I personally am extremely fond of this story. Yes some may call this book over-the-top gross but It has the message that everyone needs a friend(even smelly persons), and I think that is a message many people need to hear.
