I was so excited to read this book but was a little bit disappointed. It started out really promising but towards the end, especially a little bit after Socha and Jonah meets up, it seemed like Kohler lost direction. It kind of dawdle and dwindle a bit. The end came fast and rushed like Kohler got sick of writing the story. The transition of goals and emotion from Sorcha was nonexistent. She just reminded me of a lost teen trying to find herself. For someone so bent on revenge, Sorcha just abandoned that without a word or thought. She was a bit annoying because she was so close-minded and unreasonable. I really wonder if Sorcha was a child or a grown-up.
Not sure what the scene with Darius was about other than to remind the reader that this was part of a series. He didn't add to the plot at all. Just seemed like an extra scene thrown in.
The rest of the series I enjoyed. It is slightly different than other lycan books I read because she started writing about hunters in the series, but they were still fun. This book was a little too jumbled. I was able to finished it and was glad I did. But I'm also glad I didn't waste credits or money on it.
