I hate to say it, but I saw the "twists" and "suprises" comming way before the ending. So the mystery wasn't really there for me. That would have been ok though if there was actually some romance. The hero of the book was far from heroic. He was a total jerk. He was snobby and pomopus, and treated the main character as if she was scum on the bottom of his feet for about 95% of the book. He constantly puts her down. He never apolagizes for his atrocious behavior. There was NO chemestry between them. I still cannot figure out why she even liked him. I forced myself to finish it because of all the great reviews, but this is my last book from this author. A waste of my time.
