Beautiful pictures of every recipe and great advice. Several basic recipes for chicken stock, mayo, pesto etc. Numerous photos of Gordon Ramsey. All printed in great colors and on nice heavy paper.
However the foods are not something I would prepare or eat.
Warm blood sausage & quail's egg salad, poached duck egg with anchovy fingers, tangerine, frisee & sweet potato salad, crayfish, avocado & mayo toasties, squid with olives.
If this is your cup of tea, so to speak, this might just be the book for you.
I borrowed this book from my library but would not want to own it.
I enjoyed looking through it and like the photos, just not the actual recipes. It had a few recipes, like fish and chips and other basic recipes but they are some I can get elsewhere without taking up valuable space on my bookshelf. More of a coffee table book in my opinion.
I also agree with the other reviewer that there are A LOT of seafood recipes, so you must love seafood to enjoy a lot of the recipes.
