I am writing this review without reading Debbie Macomber's "Silver Bells." I've read about ten books by Macomber and have vowed never to read her anymore since it seems like she reuses the same characters and storylines over and over again.

"The Perfect Holiday" by Sherryl Woods: I've never read Woods before but I think I will look for her now. The story takes its time and it is truely romantic. Very sweet with great characters. In the intro, Woods mentioned that this is not a new story but a reprint.

"Under the Christmas Tree" by Robyn Carr: It shocked me that I didn't like this one as much as I liked her other stuff. In the others books, I really enjoyed Nathniel and Annie. But here, Nathaniel kind of came off as a jerk. There was an inconsistency. Some of the things that come out of Nathaniel's mouth should be very devastating to someone who was insecure (which Annie was a bit), but Annie took it really well. I loved Annie but I had a hard time with Nathaniel nor did I feel any good connection between them. A slight disappointment but not terrible.

Overall, easy read. I wouldn't exactly spend a credit or money for this but it was an above average read for an anthology.
