While investigating a suspicious death, private inquiry agent Ambrose Wells finds himself on the grounds of Aldwick Castle. The ramshackle castle is in flames and a beautiful woman and four bright students are on the run from a notorious London Crime lord who will stop at nothing to destroy them. Paperback book in good condition (book has been read a few times) Not from a smoke free enviroment however books are kept in a closet on shelves they do not smell of smoke according to a non-smoker that I have asked.
