If you don't mind Ward's incessant name dropping (at one point, she names EVERY store in a mall the characters go to) and her ATROCIOUS attempt at male dialogue (what 200 pound vampire would say "laters" after "jacking his nine?") then this book isn't too bad. I just laughed at those parts.
Ward writes more like a fantsy authur in her ability to weave so many stories together. This one wasn't as focused on the main characters as the previous BDB books have been but it pushed the surrounding storylines along to make it obvious that though all the Brothers are mated now, the story is far from over. This wasn't my favorite but if you have been following along, this one won't disapoint.
Side note, does anyone else think the woman on the cover's neck looks weird?
