If you love the foremost Impressionist's art you'll love this small yet, thick volume (256 pages). Antonia Cunningham covers the art from Claude Monet, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, Edgar Degas, Eugene Boudin and Pierre-Auguste Renoir (just to name a few). The paintings covered are all shown in stunning full color. On the page adjacent to the paintings are information on the artist, title of the painting pictured, what museum has the art and interesting history on the painting & details on its creation.
Also featured is an introduction from Karen Hurrell. Ms. Hurrell is an author on serveral other books on Renoir, Monet, Turner and many of the Pre-Raphealite artists.
Overall, an interesting little coffee table book to add to your Impressionist library. A solid 4 stars.
