#1: Till Death, by Maggie Shayne
This story revolves around a young girl named Kira Monroe.. who finds out a distant aunt left her with a fortune in her will. She goes to Scotland to meet the side of her family she never knew & becomes entangled in the family curse that's been haunting the MacClellan clan for centuries.
Call me sappy, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this story. It was intriguing & heartbreaking all at the same time. Maggie Shayne did a phenomenal job of weaving the characters with this curse that an ancestor put on the MacClellan females. This story made me cry, it was that good (or maybe it was just THAT kind of a day for me). Either way.. 10 out of 10 stars.

#2: Happily Never After, by Jeaniene Frost
A hardworking resturantur Isabella is forced into being the fiance of a local mob boss to protect her brother. Suddenly, a dashing vampire comes to intervene, thanks to Isabella's fiesty grandmother.
This was a great story too! I definitely found myself rooting for Isabella & Chance, hoping things would progress between them. Great story!

#3: Ghouls Night Out, by Terri Garey
This story revolves around a young girl, who is asked to be a last-minute replacement bridesmaid for one of her hillbilly cousins. She soon realizes that the bridesmaid she replaced is dead.. because she has this ability to see & speak to ghosts. Unfortunately no one knows yet & she begins to try to find out what happened to this sad ghost.
This story was cute.. not as good as the rest, but worth the read. I love the hillbilly references (as I can certainly relate).

#4: The Wedding Knight, by Katheryn Smith
A vampire finds out that his beloved human, whom he loved & left 5 years earlier.. is getting married to a man who is a member of an evil, selfish Order that has been around as long as he has. He goes to stop the wedding but finds himself falling in love with his human all over again.
I loved this story, and yet it was not my favorite. The story builds, introducing the characters, relating some of their history (especially the history of the centuries old vampire, Payen)... but then the story just STOPS. No conclusion, no resolution whatsoever. If this were a full length novel, it would've been worth the read. Unfortunately, it leaves one with more questions then answers.. even a short story should have some sort of resolution. This one did not - AT ALL. For that fact alone.. it was incredibly disappointing.
