This is a sweet, no sex romance with gentle Christian overtones. She is an editor of romance novels working remotely from her deceased grandpaarents' cottage. He is the ex-special forces soldier who happens to be recuperating next door. Hannon nails small town community connections, tidbits of St Louis life, and the moral quandry of what to do about expensive elder care. The suspense isn't super suspensful because the reader always knows what's going on and who the culprits are, but there is a guaranteed happy ending!
