By no means is this little coffee table book a monumental work of literature, but is a quick light, stress free read. Ended up reading most of this book during an after noon rain storm. Really enjoyed her story telling style and thought the story of Jewel's life on an Alaskan Homestead among her musician family very interesting. Some of the pages also had little doodles and such in the margins drawn by the sing/songwriter author. However, if she were not a musician, I doubt that this book would find a printer. Still, a fun little read into the mind of a women with beautiful voice which shines through in her writing.
