Having dealt with a sociopath (without awareness for a while), this book intrigued me, and I was enjoying the story line. At times it seemed a little repetitive, but understanding the female character's emotions, I was glued through much of the book.

Every story has its own climactic moment, and this one lived up to my expectation. Sadly, however, the story line totally "died" from the moment it was over. Having been so invested in the ongoing saga, I was dumbfounded how suddenly the story ended and how apparently easy the female character was able to regroup and move on.

If you've ever had a sociopath in your life, this is a good read in terms of providing you with insight into the behaviors and your own reactions. Again, it has a moving and intriguing story line, but expect to be disappointed and the quick and incomplete ending.
