This is a stunningly beautiful book about watercolor painting. It's easy to understand, though I did have a bit of problem with some of the exercises as they are extremely repetitive (one, near the end, required you to paint the same scene 10 times or so!). Of course, the reader doesn't have to actually DO the exercises! This book is an extremely informative book as well as full of Reid's arwork, which is simply gorgeous. I learned a LOT from this book and highly recommend it! A real keeper!

By the way, I am very new to watercolor, painting in general, and he gave me confidence.
