Book Review of My Life with George: What I Learned about Joy from One Neurotic (and Very Expensive) Dog

My Life with George: What I Learned about Joy from One Neurotic (and Very Expensive) Dog
reviewed on

Although the book is ultimately more about the writer and her relationships than George, it is,nonetheless,an enjoyable read. You can't help but fall in love with George, and if you have ever owned a Cav (I have 3) you will laugh yourself to tears at George's antics, recalling many similar experiences with your own dog(s). If you are looking for just a dog story, you may be disappointed, but if you enjoy good writing, wit, and an all-too-human woman who chronicles her life in tandem with the thoroughly "Cavalier," George, then I urge you to read this.
