I couldn't wait to read this story after The Lost Duke of Wyndham. However, most of the book was The Lost Duke of Wyndham, but from Thomas's & Amelia's perspectives, so I felt I was re-reading, as well as confused - it was like trying on someone else's glasses - painful. The very end of the book is where this story was best. I wish Ms. Quinn had found a way to tell this couple's story without re-hashing so much of the Lost Duke one.
