Not as enjoyable as Angel's Blood for me. There was a little too much sex and repetitive flashbacks to the murder of Elena's sisters. I was also disturbed by the many descriptions of torture and mutilation by the angels. They are not a sexy bunch to me, I'm afraid, no matter how pretty they are. I also noticed a lot of similarites between Elena/Raphael and Eve/Roark from the "In Death" series by Nora Roberts, some pretty obvious.
