An interesting start to the series. I already have book 2. Josie Toadfern (LOVE the name) owns her family laundromat. Tyra Grimes (based on who, I wonder??) has a very popular TV show which gives decorating, cleaning, and household tips. Josie decides to write to Tyra, asking to be on the show to give stain removal tips in order to bring her small town of Paradise back onto the map. Tyra shows up, unannounced, moving in with Josie. Murder ensues, of course. An interesting cast of characters and a twist that doesn't get resolved until the final pages.
