I enjoyed this book, in many ways it reminds me of The Three Pines Series books, except it's way shorter (Which proves you don't need 500+ pages to tell a good story), and there is no lecturing on politics/social issues. I will admit I did google some of the Italian phrases, which is actually fun, I can tell myself I'm learning Italian while reading. I've read two of the series now, and hope to read more.
