Leave No Scone Unturned is the second installment in the Chef-to-Go mystery series set in the college town of Normalton, Illinois and featuring Danielle "Dani" Sloan. Dani and her three college student tenants, Ivy, Starr and Tippi, are looking forward to the start of the new semester and resuming the Lunch-to-Go program for the returning students.

Orientation Week is in full swing and Ivy's uncle Spencer, the college head of security has his hands full with reports of carjacking zombies and claims that students are seeing a creature emerging from the Blackheart Canal that runs through the campus. Unsure if it's just a student prank or the act of true criminals, he sets up surveillance.

Dani discovers that Ivy has been donating the leftovers from their catering jobs to the local homeless camp and when one of the men is discovered bludgeoned inside his tent, Dani joins forces with Spencer to unmask a killer. Unfortunately some of the local business owners aren't happy that Dani has been supporting the homeless and she risks losing her fledgling business.

A fast paced plot with interesting characters, an insight into the homeless and struggling veterans and just a touch of romance.
