This is one of the best books I've ever read. In some ways it is a modern day version of Job. It is realistic. It's one of those books that really makes you think long and hard about your faith. The main character had a war going on within herself once the rug was pulled from under her feet. We, the reader, are left in the dark for most of the story just as she is. We don't know what happened either and it made me understand her conflicting emotions a lot better.
