This book is a typical teen love story. Bella moves to Forks and immediately becomes the new girl in town.
Several people in hugh school befriend her, but the one who catches her eye, ignores her.
Edward and his family are differant. They all sit together, don't eat and are all amazingly beautiful.
Edward is very antagonsitic twords Bella, and she is confused about it. What has she done?
One icy day, a van goes careening out of control, and Edward saves Bella from certain death. Now Bella is even more confused, why did Edward save her, and how? He was across the parking lot, how did he get to her so fast?
Even more confusing Edward is now nice to her. The relationship progresses and eventually she discovers Edward is more than he seems.
Through local legands and observation she finds out Edward is a Vampire and his family is also.
He eventually takes her to meet the family, and they are together for a night before trouble ensues. Vampire visitors come into the mix and Bella becomes the target.
Bella and Edward cannot live apart, what would happen if she died?
