Read this book over 20 years ago but it still sticks with me. The author did a great job capturing the feel of "The Yard" in her accounts, including the quirks of the city of Annapolis, even down the the infamous "West Street Walker" who anybody that attended USNA in the 80s or 90s will remember. Although it is strictly fictional, the descriptions and characters are very accurate and appropriate for the Naval Academy of the late 1980s. I would be delighted to see this available again released!

The question here did Midshipman Brian Tyler commit suicide or was he murdered? Annapolis officials insist Brian committed suicide. But his mother Kate Tyler believes that he was murdered. Galvanized by anger and grief she will search for the shattering truth. Will she find out during her search that she does not know her son Brian as well as she thinks? Read this Annapolis classic and find out!
