The great part of this book was that there were various characters who all had a good role to play in the story and the plot flowed and questions I had while reading it were answered.  Alexia/Alex owned a ranch after her father died. When a newcomer came to town with a little boy, Alex had longed to get to know him. He had certainly had a past but Alex did fear getting to know it.  Was he connected to her father's death? 
A great part about this Christian book was that it was mainly about showing God to others regardless of what other people thought of them.  I liked the story a lot!
