A good Andy Carpenter read, has all the requisite parts. Entertaining page turner. The one part that I didn't love was the ending/resolution. Far too complex and way too many names to keep straight. As in, "When A went to B and told them that C wanted A to do the deed that D originally wanted, but C overheard A and E talking and thought they would get B to do something instead."

Keeping all the names and characters straight when you just want a straightforward resolution is tiring and disappointing.
