I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this book!! I had "put off" reading it because it was advertised as "young adult" fiction although my daughter, who is in her late 20s, and several older ladies I work with told me that I would really enjoy it. I figured it would be too toned down for me in the romance department (in other words, no sex!) but my daughter gave me the hardcover boxed set for Mother's Day and as I was "between books", I started reading. Next thing I know it's 1:00 AM and I had to get up at 5:00 AM for work!!! :-) I so enjoyed this series that they're on my keeper shelf (of which there are very few) and I plan to read them again soon (which is something I've only done one other time...with "Gone with the Wind"). It was soooo easy to get drawn into this story as the author has quite a way with describing emotions and feelings. This book oozes romance!!!! There is absolutely no physical intimacy in this book but the emotional intimacy is one of the best I have read. I HIGHLY recommend this book -- as well as the others.
Story = A+
Romance = A++
Intimacy = Doesn't matter! :-)
