I just finished reading this book for the second time and it was just as captivating as the first. If your first impression is hesitant, I urge you to give the entire series a chance before judging ~ the story makes much more sense and has much more depth in its entirety. Although originally hesitant to pick it up (after watching the mediocre movie), I found the book to be so completely immersive, written in a style that just flows eloquently and brings out the deepest desires in all of us to find that Perfect match, that I couldn't put it down. Although I read it fast, I must reiterate that I was completely absorbed in the story from start to finish. A train could have crashed through my living room without me noticing. Nothing I say here could possibly do justice to this novel ~ It has quickly become my favorite.
