This author writes excellent non-fiction generally, but this book seemed to drag. It's about the Galveston, Texas hurricane in early 1900's and the failure of weather people to predict it.
The issues are clear enough and well developed, but the author also meanders into a variety of tangents before finally describing the hurricane's entry into Galveston.
Overall, this book is one of Erik's lesser efforts.
