Fascinating stuff. Roswell has become such a pop culture phenom, nearly a religion, that it is good to have a book from someone who doesn't automatically accept everything everybody else has said. This is definitely not a koolaid UFO book. It was certainly food for thought. I don't think Korff allows enough for the inaccuracies that can result from somebody having to tell the same story 50 times and having a zillion different people try to write it down; it's like playing that kid's game of telephone where the message that goes out is totally different by the time it comes around again. I also agree with the previous reviewer that Korff does some conclusion-jumping of his own. He also has a bad word for several other well known authors and researchers. That said, and however many people have jumped on the publicity/attention bandwagon, *something* did happen. That much I don't think can be denied. What it was, I doubt we will ever know, at this distance of time and what with the circus that now surrounds the incident. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to see another take on Roswell than George Noory, et al provide.
