I was in my forties, when I listened to this book. I loved having a novel who's heroine, was in her mid forties!
Rosalind Harper, is a strong woman, who has her own business, and three grown sons. She has lost two husbands, one to a tragic accident, and the other to a nasty divorce.
Mitch Carnegy has been hired by the family to investigate the identity of the the ghost that haunts Harper house. He is divorced, with a grown son. He is a loving father, a succesful writer, and has dealt with all the ghosts in his own past.
Mitch and Rosalyn enrich each others lives as they investigate who the woman "Amelia," who haunts the harper grounds, could possibly be.
Amelia, has reason to hate men, and will go to almost any length to break up this new love. Then you add in a vicious ex-husband, an old embittered aunt, a loving extended family, and go along for a very entertaining listen......
