Loved this book - wasn't sure at first if I should pick it up or not due to the somewhat silly cover but in the end I grabbed it and said "what the hell". Turned out to be an excellent book and I will definitely look for more from this author. Think Lord of the Rings with romance and zombies! Great writing, great world building, great characters - grab this one if you have the chance. This is second in a series but you can read it as a stand alone book.
A war is going on as high priestess Evelyn is captured and imprisoned. Orrin Blackhart leader of the opposing army is in charge of this new prisoner but the evil baroness is missing and feared dead and Orrin is starting to see everything as a lost cause and wondering how he can save his men from retribution.
