The idea of a family with 19 children wore off quickly. The tone of the book was condescending. They seem to have the "We're better than you" attitude, and the message in the book seems to be, "We're right, and you're wrong if you don't parent exactly like us." Most of their advice is common sense and can be found in the first 5 pages of any parenting book. But some of thier advice is based on thier own personal beliefs, and wouldn't work in every family. I didn't make it past chapter 3, and was very disappointed.
