I made the mistake of watching the Twilight movie first and DIDN'T understand why there was such a devoted group of followers for it. I checked out Midnight Sun on Meyer's web-site and fell in love with Edward (it's Twilight from HIS perspective) and rushed out to buy this book. I read this in two days and flew through the series in 5. If you start with this book be prepared to "check out" for the week as reading this series is ALL you will be doing.
