Book Review of The Bookseller

The Bookseller

The same woman but living two different lives, one in the fall of 1962 and the other in the winter of 1963. What would our life be like if we had made different choices? Kitty in 1962 is single, lives in an apartment with her cat, and walks or rides her bike every day to the bookstore she owns with her friend Frieda in downtown Detroit. Katharyn in 1963 is married with triplets, living in a new Detroit suburb, and busy raising her family. They are the same woman. One life is in her imagination and one is real. I enjoyed this book - I liked both Kitty and Katharyn - and liked the way the author wove in why one was living in her imagination.
