This police procedural mystery is nicely plotted with engaging characters, but the translation is awful, to the point of it being very distracting. The sentence structure and usage are unnatural in many places, and ditto for the word choice - as if someone was using a dictionary to translate at times. Nevertheless, if you enjoy Nordic noir, you may find this an enjoyable read.
