Never Have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson is a domestic thriller and much edgier than her women's fiction, which I love. As the title implies, the plot focuses on playing a âgame' with serious repercussions for many people.

When the first chapter opens with snarky talk at a neighborhood book club meeting, I knew I'd enjoy this one. Warning: Jackson includes several big topics in this novel including eating disorders and others I won't list to avoid spoilers.

Jackson, a professional audiobook narrator, reads this audiobook so the text is shared exactly as the author intends.
