I'm not inclined to believe the stories in this book, but I will say that they're incredibly convincing. Each person telling a story about a loved one from the past conveys detail and action with such strong conviction that it's easy to believe these encounters truly did happen to them. Something that helps, too, is that they're stories not about strangers, but about very dear, very close loved ones.

If you're of the mindset to believe in life after death, this will help to confirm. If you've recently lost someone, this is an excellent book for comfort.
