This is the third book in the series Canyon Country, which is a follow-up to the series Seven Devils. Set in Grand Junction, CO.

The female CFO of a small, close-knit company faces personal and professional challenges when the owner abruptly sells to an infamous corporate raider.

The Canyon Country series follows the fortunes of the Aquilon orphans introduced in one of the Seven Devils books. I haven't liked this series as well as the first.
