This book is not just a dictionary about what a name means, but is a guide to style, impression, and the image your child's name will have. If you name your child Steven, what impression does that give to people? How about Nigel? Francis? I definitely referred to this book when I was pregnant with both of my children. I found out that my childrens' names were classic, will probably never be out of fashion (because they aren't trendy), and that they would be good names for adults as well as children. Don't waste time with baby name dictionaries. Get THIS book!
